Craft project #3 || Painted wall art
I am a huge fan of Jessica Jones' blog so when I saw her tutorial for making your own DIY wall art I had to give it a go!
Supplies: canvas (leftovers from a kit), white acrylic paint, matt gel to seal, paintbrushes and some sticky labels.
First step was to paint the canvas in several layers of matt gel and white paint to create a base.
Once that had dried, I stuck on my design with the labels and masking tape.
Then painted over the top.
Finally I removed the labels and hey presto! DIY wall art!
These look great hanging on my living room wall now. Thanks for the inspiration Jessica!
